When the other kids were running around at recess, I was sitting somewhere reading. Admittedly, I've reread a lot of stuff, but I don't think you can really understand a story in one pass. My reading obsession has only gotten more complex since I got a kindle last yr. Between the low prices and the free classics, and of course the bookcase I already have in my bedroom, I'm a happy little geek. Man I kinda sound like Henry Bemis, don't I? (and yes, I do have thick glasses.)

Isn't the quote attributed to Dark Stranger here part of this thread's initial post, which was also by Dark Stranger? So I don't see anything amiss.

I would be able to narrow it down to about an eight-year period. It just so happened I remembered what book I was reading at the time, though. I brought it along for when things got slow on break and recall discussing it with a fellow juror. I simply went to my Book List and came up with the exact month and year! Stick THAT in your pipe and smoke it!
