I keep my TZ series as much of a secret as possible...I don't want to lend it out! My book is in a couple pieces now, but it still serves me well.

My "Twilight Zone Companion" is in relatively good shape after many years of abuse. All the pages are still in the binding. There's been a bit of yellowing, but it's all intact.

On the other hand, my copy of David Schow's "The Outer Limits Companion" (a far, far superior TV series companion book, when compared to Zicree's) is falling apart. Pages from it have become unbound and fall all over the floor if I don't handle the book gingerly.

An advantage of Zicree's book, however, is that it's lightweight. One can get a hernia trying to lift Schow's book.

I got my original Companion right after it came out in 1982. It came apart years ago, but I also bought the revised edition, which seems to have superior binding.

Sounds like a parallel copy, check your book and see if any endings are different from those in Glen's book.

I'm on my third copy of the TZ Companion. My original copy literally fell apart after years of use (and abuse). My second copy (the 2nd edition, with the improved index) is in pretty good shape. I got my third copy with season 1 on blu-ray (the limited edition). I also have the first edition in pdf form, which resides on my laptop for quick reference.

My Outer Limits Companion (which I agree is a vastly superior work) is shot to hell: taped-up spine, etc. I never got the second edition, but I do have it in pdf form... and it's beautiful. I really hope they do another print run someday.

Kriegersaurus -- Are you saying that there are pdf versions of the companions available, for free, online?

Forgive the naivete of the question, but I'm not very technologically with-it.

If there are, can you provide links?
