John Wyndam novel. One of the ten best reads. Recommended and forget all the movie adaptations. The novel rocks.

No, I will not forget the movie version. It rocked! John Wyndham, didn't he write the Midwich Cuckoos, that was the inspiration for the 1960 movie, Village of the Damned? Never read the book. The movie rocked! At least the 1960 version rocked!

John Wyndham is my favourite author. Both books mentioned above are John Wyndham and very good. I can also recommend:

The Kraken Wakes (AKA Out of the Deeps)
The Chrysalids (my personal favourite)
The Trouble with Lichen (would make a decent TZ in my opinion)
