A full length version of "And When the Sky Was Opened" does indeed sound intriguing. I also think a full length version of "The Shelter" containing elements of other episodes such as "Time Enough at Last" and "One More Pallbearer" could conceivably work as well. Especially if the movie is released this year, with something big being predicted to happen in December (by some people), it'd certainly be a relevant topic for the movie to undertake. Although, I'm sure there'll be a lot of movies released this year which deal with an 'impending apocalypse', The Twilight Zone doesn't need to be one of them. It could be interesting though.

Perhaps the movie could begin in colour, and the apolocalypse takes place early on in the movie, draining the colour from the screen and leaving us with black and white for the remainder of the movie (until the inevitable happy ending), or vice versa. Well, I don't know, I'm just an ideas man! But I'd certainly love to see a black and white Twilight Zone on the big screen, something to set it apart from the pack, and make it more than just another Hollywood blockbuster action/science fiction movie.

I'd also like to see Leonardo Di Caprio play the leading character in the movie (although I doubt he will), a genuine star to give the movie a 'big-time' feel. Johnny Depp is set to appear in the Dark Shadows movie, I don't see why Di Caprio couldn't do the same with The Twilight Zone.
