Just slightly above normal because here again it's not awful. Don't have much of an opinion about it. I still get it confused with the Chaser. Must be the Patricia Barry connection. And here again it's not the only genie TZ. Just haven't watched it enough.

Gilbert and Sullivan State Trooper

This episode should be acknowledged for making the pun on the Stephen Foster song title over two years before the Barbara Eden series did. If I'm not mistaken, an uncredited Milton Parsons plays the scientist who tries to persuade President George to let the spaceships land. If so, then he appeared in two consecutive episodes, since he was also Landru in "The New Exhibit." Jay Overholts had small roles in the first two episodes of the series, but otherwise I can't think of anyone else with consecutive appearances.

okay episode.. it tries to be funny but i found myself laughing at it not with it.

unusual portrayal of the genie by jack albertson.. i needed more of him and less of howard morris.

poor attila.. he kept changing breeds.. i didn't get that because that was the one good constant in george's life and i get that with each situation a different breed was called for but i think attila should have been.. well attila.

This episode was on the boring side for me, but I thought Morris was pretty decent. Sort of a low-budget version of Jack Lemmon. Albertson I didn't like at all. I guess they wanted to do something different with the genie, and I'm glad you liked it, adam, because I sure didn't.

Have you ever wondered who John Furia, Jr., is or was, aside from being the writer of this episode? I did, until he was mentioned today on Paul Harvey's newscast in connection with an article you can view at the following link:

Do you happen to know who the woman is that was under the piano?

I remember looking at the credits but I think I missed it if she was mentioned.

BTW, ep was a little slow in my opinion .
Probably about a 4 in my book.

She's there in the credits: Joyce Jameson (1932-1987) as "Starlet." That description in itself doesn't identify her all that clearly, but I knew very well who she was from the beginning, as she was a popular sitcom character actress of the TZ era. Fans of The Andy Griffith Show will remember Joyce and the recently deceased Jean Carson ("A Most Unusual Camera") as the "Fun Girls," Mayberry's version of Thelma and Louise.

I presume Joyce was no relation to Walter.
